3 exercises to relieve your foot pain during Quarantine

Try these three easy exercises to alleviate your pain, soreness and improve the overall foot health in your free time can help you strengthen your foot muscles and also become your habit when you see the benefits

1)Toe-up exercise

This exercise helps you to strengthen your toe muscles. It can be done on both feet and the same time or alternative feet, as per your comfort zone

This exercise can be done by the following steps

 

  • Sit on one chair with your back straight. Calm yourself by counting from 1 to 5 and gently rest your feet on the floor
  • Spread your toes by lifting them up and holding them for 5 seconds
  • Do the exercise 10 times.

 2) Ball roll

 This exercise can help in Plantar fasciitis, which is a condition of heel pain and also relaxes your arches.

This exercise can be done by the following steps

 

  • Sit on one chair with your back straight. Calm yourself by counting 1 to 5 and gently rest your feet on the floor
  • Place your foot on top of a small ball. For example like a tennis ball
  • Roll the bottom of your feet in to and fro motion. Apply pressure according to your need.

 3) Toe Curls

This exercise will help you to strengthen the upper part of your foot and also the toes

This exercise can be done by following step

 

  • Sit on one chair with straight. Calm yourself by counting 1 to 5 and gently rest your feet on the floor
  • Place a hand towel with a small side to oneself and put the toes of one foot on the towel.
  • Pull the towel towards yourself with your toes, forming curls to the towel under your feet
  • Do it 5 to 10 times on each foot as per your comfort.

 These exercises will help you to strengthen all parts of your foot and eventually doing these exercises regularly will reduce the pain and improve your foot health.
